Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of their interest in the industry, leadership in school and the community, academic achievement, and financial need.
In 2019, the Foundation awarded 26 scholarships ranging from $1,500 to over $5,000 to deserving students through the Mary and Leonard Stiles Scholarship, the Large Animal Vet Scholarships given to 4th year students of Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Foundation Scholarships. Since 2004, the Foundation has awarded more than $643,000 in student scholarships – an impressive investment in the future of the industry.
